As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) participated in the annual National Schools Maintenance Week dubbed as “Brigada Eskwela” in Don Jose Elementary School, located in Brgy. Don Jose, Sta. Rosa City.

MMPC donated painting materials for the repainting of the school building and fence and construction materials for the rehabilitation of the school ground and improvement of their “Gulayan sa Paaralan”.

This year’s “Brigada Eskwela” brought a brighter second home to around 900 pupils of Don Jose Elementary School during the opening of classes last June.

To date, MMPC is coordinating with officials of Don Jose Elementary School in identifying future projects that will benefit their students.

Meanwhile, MMPC also supported the Anti-Child Labor Advocacy Program of the Laguna Labor Management Council (LLMC) by providing financial assistance to cover food expenses during the distribution of school supplies to 100 child laborers and children vulnerable to child labor in Brgy. Concepcion, Pila, Laguna.

With the desire to take part in helping younger generation get quality education, MMPC will continue to support programs that will benefit school children.
